Clean Up Drive 2022
For this Earth Day 2022, The Earth Needs Love and Pakistan Youth Biodiversity Network with official partnership with EarthDay.org has organized a CLEAN UP DRIVE in Mardan, Pakistan.
Convenor: Abdul Jalil, Ihsan Ur Rehman .
Young kids, teachers joined hands to clean their surroundings for Earth Day 2022 with the theme "Invest In Our Planets".
These types of activities enable the kids to realize that environmental health matters. They start to learn that our very survival will depend upon whether or not we are able to preserve, protect, and defend our environment
These activities play a critical role in mobilizing local communities to address ecological crisis and climate change, including enhancing climate literacy, building civic skills, and fostering gender responsive stakeholder engagements. These are fundamental building blocks for accelerating the transition to the green economy and protecting biodiversity. They are key to creating a global movement of green consumers, innovative technologies and businesses, informed political leaders, and grassroots support for a green political agenda.

Lack of solid waste management and disposal is leading to significant environmental problems related to soil, air, water, and aesthetic pollution. Such environmental problems are associated with human health disorder.

Every year on 22nd of April, Earth Day is celebrated to demonstrate support for environment.
Climate change and other environmental degradations have broken our natural systems, leading to new and fatal diseases as well as a breakdown of the global economy. But just as climate change and coronavirus painfully remind us of the harm we’ve caused, Restore Our Earth reminds us of the opportunities that lay ahead.
We must Restore Our Earth not just because we care about the natural world, but because we live on it. Every one of us needs a healthy Earth to support our jobs, livelihoods, health & survival, and happiness. A healthy planet is not an option — it is a necessity.
Zakar Khan Afridi has raised his voice for environment along with his fellows and have told everyone that we cannot survive on hopes only.

World Water Day, 2021
The World Water Day celebrates water and raises awareness of the global water crisis, and a core focus of the observance is to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030.
The theme of World Water Day 2021 is #Valuing_Water. The value of water is about much more than its price – water has enormous and complex value for our households, food, culture, health, education, economics and the integrity of our natural environment. If we overlook any of these values, we risk mismanaging this finite, irreplaceable resource.
